We can do a ton for you in Google Business to optimize your Google ranking. But if you want to start by getting some new reviews, you can follow the steps below. These instructions assume you already have a Google Business profile.
Creating and optimizing a Google Business account verifies to Google that your business or organization is legitimate. Your competitors are likely using it, so don’t be left in the dust! Once listed, getting as many 5-Star Reviews as possible is vital. The better your ratings, the better you’ll rank compared to your competitors.
In the past, getting 5-star reviews had always been a hassle. There was never an easy way to tell your customers how to quickly give you a great review except for telling them to do a Google search for your business and then finding the Review link. Too much work if you ask me! But now, Google has made it easier now, if you know where to look.
Here are the steps to get your Google Business reviews link:
- Login to your Google Business Profile Manager
- Click the “See Your Profile” button.
- Click the “Customers” button. For some, it may be labeled as “Ask for more reviews”. If so, click that and skip to step #6 below.
- Click the “Reviews” tab.
- Click “Get More Reviews”.
- You should then see a popup like the example below. Click the copy icon (highlighted below), and then paste that into an email to your very best customers.
